#31 Magic Minky Blankie 5

Babies, babies, babies....ooo, how I love another opportunity to make a Magic Minky Baby Blankie.  This one was for my neice, Larissa and her husband, Ulyses.  Here's what I came up with for their new little one.

I searched fabric ideas for quite a while and had several prospects before I finally chose these cute neon green giraffes.  I especially loved the contrast of the black and grey versions and I think that's what helped make my final decision.

I was really happy to find the Minky fabric for the back in a similar color and binding fabric with the cute tiny black dots.

I also made a couple of burp cloths to match.

These soft Minky blankets are quick and easy to make, not to mention the joy they bring through the process of creating them.

I just hope it brings much soft, cuddly warmth to Mathias.
