#26 & 27 Seeing Double (Magic Minky Blankies 3&4)

So many babies...so little time!

Last Thanksgiving I was told the exciting news of my niece's pregnancy.  Not having much time to plan due to current projects, I settled on making one of my now "famous" Magic Minky Baby Blankies.

ALSO, having learned she is expecting twins - a boy and a girl, 

I needed to make a coordinating pair.  

These blankets are quilted (only 2 layers) using character flannel and that oh so soft minky fabric that is loved by the tiny ones!

The shower invitation was a cute jungle theme...

that reminded me of fabric I'd seen online previously.

And lucky for me, I found it in two colorways.

And I added a pair of coordinating terry burp cloths.

(And little Brian as he becomes a Big Brother.)
